Great news for shopping enthusiasts - plans have been set to construct a new mall in Abu Dhabi. City Centre Al Jazira, which is the fruit of a collaboration between Al Jazira Sports and Cultural Club and Majid Al Futtaim, is set to open in 2021.
The 1.4 billion dirham project will be home to over 150 retail stores, Carrefour Hypermarket, a kids entertainment centre powered by Magic Planet, and 15-screen VOX cinemas. Not to mention a City Centre Clinic, a gym and fitness centre, along with various outdoor and indoor dining options.
With a total leasable area of 80'500 square meters within a 215'000 square meter built-up area , the mall will have a wider scale in comparison to the My City Centre neighborhood.
