Dubai Sports City Location Information
Dubai Sports City
Dubai Sports City is being built around five major sports venues and features a number of sports academies. Located on Mohammed Bin Zayed Road, the residential aspect of the project consists of mid-rise apartment buildings, townhouses, and villas. Several of the sports facilities have been completed but there are many vacant residential plots where construction has not yet started.
The Sports facilities will incorporate four huge stadiums, the greatest one specifically for rugby, soccer, and other track and field sports. One of the stadiums is planned only for cricket, an indoor stadium for different sorts of games, for example, field hockey stadium to mention the biggest. It would also have its own hospital and last but not least, hockey, and the last one exclusively for Field Hockey. Dubai Sports City would be packed with different Sports Academies out of which, the Field Hockey Academy will be the very first one in the world.
Sports City is very well connected and easily accessible by road to most parts of the Emirates. It’s a 30 minute drive to the international airport, 20 minutes to the Dubai Mall, 15 minutes to Dubai Marina, and 1 hour 20 to Abu Dhabi.

Whilst there is a lot to offer on your doorstep and there are constantly new things appearing all over the area, it still has a few restrictions such as some of the amenities require a small commute via a car – but on the other hand that’s also quite nice in a way and nothing is too far.
Unfortunately, some of the roadside areas are sandy, thus it seems somewhat "unfinished and untidy" in places. But sooner or later it will be done and will look pleasant!
